Fix my bike!!!

Fix my bike!!!
Hello all,

Well my husband got a new bike and he was nice enough to give me his old 07 cbr600rr. We took it on a trip to Deals Gap, and it fell. However i am new at ridind but it was not I who dropped it. While getting the other 3 bikes off the trailer, my bike decided to take its self off. The windshield and mirrors are done for. It breaks my heart to see it all busted up and collecting dust in the garage. Im super short so its not like I can ride the hubbys cbr1000. I need more practice and my bike and i are just wasting away. Help with Advice? I need new just the upper fairing and a windscreen but all i could afford now is the mirriors lol. I quit my job to pursue school full time thus money is tight. Missing my baby.

You dont need a front fairing or windscreen to ride the bike. Take the rest of the plastic off, and call it a street fighter. Buy some cheap barend mirrors so your legal, and enjoy!

besides, your just starting out.. You should be more concerned about becoming a better rider, than what your bike looks like, especially if your riding a 600cc sportbike.

Have a look on ebay and the like for cheap mirrors windscreen and a front fairing, you may also need new headlights - quite often when you break the fairing you will break the mounting tabs for the lights.

You should be able to get an oem windscreen cheap cause a lot of people remove theirs to put a db screen on.

Thanks for the info. Yea I'm trying to learn, thats what I really care about. My husband already got most of the stuff for it. He said something about having to change the fairing stay because thats what broke too. I dont know much about bike. I just miss riding with my husband even though he's much better than me. Plus its funny to get looks from guys because theyre aren't a lot of females round here that attempt to ride.
