Whats wrong with my bike?

i bought a new 09 cbr600rr in feb, it is my commute vehicle and runs all the time. today im rolling it out to the parking lot to turn it on before work. First thing i notice is that the nuetral indicator light isnt on but bike is running fine...
(i think, ok thats not good but bike is running fine and i gotta go to work!) so i leave ...im goin along and stop at the first red light, i notice the yellow engine light is on as well as the HESD light are on...
(now im thinking **** wtf now, i need to get to work, bike is running fine still so i keep goin)
thats when i notice speedo and odometer not working!! now im cussing in my helmet cursing honda's name (my first honda)
now i make it to work and everything ran fine but....
1. i hope to god it starts when i leave work
2. wtf is wrong with it
3. how much is this gonna cost me

anybody experienced this or have advice

bike should still be under the year manufacturers warranty..i would call the honda dealer and explaine the issue ur having and arrange for the bike to get into the service department to have it checked out.

count the number of long and short blinks. if you have a service manual, you can cross reference the number of long/short blinks to the code number.

The FI light. Put the bike on the kickstand, in neutral, and start the bike. Tell us what the series of long and short blinks are.

It's the light with "FI" on it. The check engine light might be the one that flashes on the 09's. Not sure.

update!!

so i can get the bike started which is the good news but the bad news is there are more symptoms

1. bike wont start with kickstand down, even in neutral
2. bike wont start with kick stand up in neutral either but will start up if i pull in clutch and stay on even with clutch back out after start up
3. while in neutral rpm's go down around 200 when clutch pulled in and back up when released (its not impacting anything but is noticeable
4. nuetral indicator does light up when i first turn on bike , but then that indicator as well as speedo dont work

Also i still dont know where or what the "FI" light is as i didnt see anything blinking at all

You need to have the bike running in neutral and with the kickstand down for the ECU to flash the codes on the FI light.

Have you done any recent mods to the bike?
If the bike is under warranty, have it towed to a motorcycle dealership and do not ride it anymore. Continuing to ride it will only cause more damage.

Removing the tank is a fairly simple task. There are a couple little things that need to be done that the Owners manual will break down for you. Make sure you follow step by step.. Once that is off you should have open access to the wiring system. GL.

Rats, gotta love rats. In the how-to section, there are DIY instructions for airbox mods, or changing the air filter, etc. Look those up and follow the directions, just stop when you get to the point that involves lifting the tank.

Rats will find their way into anything. Engines will stay warm throughout the night after having been running, and rats like to curl up around them to stay warm. For some damn reason, Honda likes to make their wires out of stuff that tastes yummy to rats.
