1994 honda shadow 1100

A friend of mine rides a 1994 honda shadow 1100 and is having some issues with it. Since you guys are so freakin awesome with issues like this, I thought I'd at least throw it by you.

The bike starts up fine fully choked, as it warms up he can put the choke down and it will idle. As it gets up to temp and after a few minutes of running fine, it will run slower and slower until it sputters itself out and stalls.

A similar issue exists when he is starting from a light. If he's able to keep it running, at low RPM's it will stall when he sits at the light. But if he is giving it a lot of gas and keeps the RPM's up, he said it seems to run fine. He said when he starts out and gives it a bunch of gas, it's a hit or miss on if it will bog down and then get going or if it will go right away.

Any ideas or suggestions on what to check are appreciated.

Rebuild the carbys and all will be fine, it sounds like the accelerator pump is on its way out and either a float / jet problem.
