Wiring Short

Got a 05 600rr about a month ago. Runs great has 15k on it. I am having a bit of a electrical issue. So here is goes..

LED blinks had resisters in them but something shorted out. so i put it all the old blinkers back on to start from scratch

The orange wire on the left blinker also has to be connected for the fuel pump to come on.
Head lights dont work.
The riders left head light has to be unplugged for the fuel pump to prime.
I turn the blinkers on and the light on the cluster blinks.
The rear blinkers blink opposite and the front dont blink at all.

Do i need a new Cluster?
New wire harness?
Could a bad ground cause this?

Thanks

The problem is very close to this thread but the thread end with out finding the problem

Black ground coming from the head light was loose going into the relay on the left side.

I think you need to remove wires from the signal to the fuel pump. Sounds like you are running the fuel pump off of another relay. If it's all spliced here and there a new harness would be the way to go. Then you can swap it out and don't have to deal with all the splices..

The reason the fuel pump was stopping was because of a bad ground reference to the BAS, when you take load off (ie unplug the headlight) it goes low enough to allow the fuel pump to prime. Fix the bad ground and your problem is solved.

Glad to see you have it sorted now btw.
