Bike randomly shuts off while riding about once every 100miles... any idea why?

Well it's starting to get colder up here in New Hampshire, but I don't think that has to do with the random engine shutting off.

I'll be randomly stopped at a red light or something of that nature, after riding many miles, and the bike will just turn off. I'll have to fiddle with the kill switch, key, being in neutral /1st before being able to get it to start again. This happens on average once every 100 miles. Any idea what the cause could be? Thank you in advance for any responses!

Are your wires to the battery terminals on tight? Kill switch could be wonky. Take it apart and give it a good clean.

Vapour lock in the fuel tank? Next time it happens open your tank cover and see if there is a vacuum in there.
