Unhappy FI light?

After my crash I started the bike up and everything internally was fine.. I took it apart down to just the engine (removed airbox and tank to replace throttle cables) and put it all back together. Now my FI light blinks 2 times fast when i first start her up. After giving it some throttle, or riding it the light stays on

it seems like my idle at times drops low and then back up so I am thinking its something with the injectors but I havent had the chance to tear back into her.. any ideas??

with a little research I found the code chart i think my 2 blinks are the 2 long blinks.. so thats 20 right? Im not sure what the fast blink and short blinks look like.. its not super fast but its not super slow either.. so its either a 2 or a 20.... ECU or MAP sensor.. meaning faulty EPROM in ECU... so how do you fix that? do I need a new ECU or is it possibly just a broken connection, wire, pin, or need to wiggle the connections and see if it goes away?

Ill try all this when I get the first chance.. possibly later this afternoon since its a rainy day..

1 more side question.. if my battery was disconnected for a couple days do I need to have my speedo healer re-programmed or does it still store the programming in its memory?

Given that you pulled the airbox off chances are you just didn't hook the MAP sensor back up... could be either the wiring harness or the vacuum line.

As for the speedo healer, not sure but I would expect it to have dropped its memory, however it will be a relatively simple thing to re-program, instructions should have come with it or failing that you will be able to get them off google.

If you want to know what percentage you have to put in, have a look in my sig - there is a link there that will tell you what you need.
