Temperature not showing, fan doesn't work

I own a CBR 600 RR '04 and I have a problem of dashboard not showing any temperature. Instead of temperature I just see two lines, no matter how much the engine is hot. I also noticed that even if bike is running stand still for like 15 minutes in hot weather, fan won't start kicking.

I've already replaced ECT sensor and checked all the lines heading from fan to ECU and ECT sensor to ECU. All lines seem to be OK.

I've checked fuses also and they're OK. Fan starts kicking if I put it directly to 12V.

What else should I check? Is there any possibility that ECU is broken?

Thanks for your help.

Sounds like the wiring between the ECT and the ECU is bad, ECT feeds the ECU which in turn feeds the gauges and fan.

Have you checked the harness for continuity? (with the ECT and ECU unplugged)

Is there any corrosion / damage on / to the ECU plugs?

If its neither of those then more than likely the problem is the ECU itself, in which case you may want to see about trying yours in someone else's bike or borrowing someone else's to try in your bike cause those suckers aint cheap...
