Quick shift won't work

Went for a ride the other and elec shifter won't work

Everything was all good last time I rode it. I reset it using my lap top and still nothing.

Any ideas

If it's under warranty, send it in for repair. If it's not, buy a new one.

check for a short on the 2 wires coming from the solenoid....it will short when shifting if working correctly

^umm, i think you need to rephrase that, ive never heard of a system that was functioning correctly when its broken

Just got to make sound user friendly.

It means sometimes when working properly, a short can happen while shifting.

There are 2 wires coming from your quick shifter, if you remove the plug and continuity meter those 2 wires and then engage the shifter the wires are continuity shorting making your meter beep. If this happens it's working fine, if not then it's broken.
