i have 03 cbr 600rr it came with 1 key

as i was closing my gas tank yesterday the key bent almost in a L shape. I straighten out the key as much as i could but it still looks slightly bent. every time i want to take the key out of the ignition i have to mess with it a little. if i were to get that key copied will i have the same problem with the new keys?
what do u guys recommend?
thanks RJ

stop messing with it and take it to a locksmith ASAP
if he can do something you want to get the key to him before you weaken it further due to use and cause it to break.
have him make a copy.
otherwise search the forum for threads about replacement keys.
you should find more info that will help you.

goodluck

Replace it mate, if it breaks off in the barrel you will be in for a very large headache that will cost you 10 times what it needs to.
