How to get rear seat off?

Hey guys, I just purchased an 05 RR and I'm having some trouble removing the rear seat. From the looks of it, the lock cylinder is missing and the seat is latched. I've been messing around with the hole with a screwdriver, trying to get it to release somehow, with no luck.
Worst case scenario, I've been thinking about cutting the plastic tab off that holds the rear of the seat but, of course, that would ruin the seat and I'm trying to avoid that.

Does anyone have any tips? Thanks guys.

Aside from cutting the seat, i'm not sure if you could gain access from under the tail. I know the pan in the bottom of the seat area is quite obstructive, but if you were able to cut a patch out to gain access to the mechanism and then patch it back in afterwards. Since the exhaust is right under it, the repair wouldn't be very obvious.
