Question ADJ button on instrument cluster

Just bought a my honda without a user manual, problem is I don't know what the ADJ button does on the instrument cluster. I know it illuminates between (A) and (B) but I don't know what these letters mean on the cluster ? can anybody shine a light ?

You use trip A to change the odometer from M to KM
and on trip B you change the temp from F to C
push both of the buttons down to reset the time

If it doesn't challange you it won't change you
Only two ways to live life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.

it is a neat design though.. 2 little buttons and i can change my speed from KM-Mi, and it also allows me to change the coolant from C-F. it also adjust the clock and clears the trip meters.
