Engine missing problem
Ok, I just got a 03 600rr with about 20,000 miles on it, bike is has stock exhaust, but a K&N filter. That's about all I know about the history of the bike.
So the bike when idling, it will sound like it will miss, so I ran the bike and checked my exhaust temps and when sitting on the bike from left to right the temps read 241-365-371-374, so I thought that the plug on the left side is fouled, because once I start driving it there is no more miss, runs really smooth. So last night I changed the plug on the most left cylinder started it up again and still did it, measured the temps again, same thing, so my next thought is that I have a weak coil and it gets good ignition when reved high but not when just idling. I have checked the connection and it seems good, any imput would be appreciated. Like I said this only does this at idle, I have no been able to check the temps when reved up but will do later, thanks in advance the the advice.
