"no start" is my motor blown?

2006 600rr, about 6500 miles.

Went to start it normally (had been running perfect) and it cranked a few times, made an odd noise and now just cranks over with a different sound pattern, and will not start or even stumble while cranking over. while cranking over it sounds different and has a different sound/pattern than it did before while normal cranking.

any ideas?

If it clicks you probably have a dead battery.

just skips along as the starter motor cranks over the motor. the fuel pump primes up and everything when the key/starter switch are turned. battery has good juice. I'll try to post a video soon.

Check if you have spark.... remove one of the coils and its spark plug, then put the plug back into the coil and hold the bridge (not the electrode) against the block, crank the bike and keep your fingers clear of the pointy end of the plug...

Have you tried to jump start it? That would diagnose if it was just the starter with the problem, and not the rest of the engine
