Bike temperature normal?

Is it normal for my bike to go up to 105C on the temperature gauge on a 17C cloudy day? I can feel the heat from my leg. It usually goes up that high when im on a stand still during a red light or something like that but goes back down when im riding. Never goes below 77C when moving. I have a 05 CBR.

Btw i use rotella t6 diesel oil. Is that fine??

Thanks in advance.

Change your oil to something that is designed for use in a motorcycle and the temp will go down.

And no its not good to run that stuff.
