Fuel injector delayed shut off

I was riding my '07 today and noticed after a while of riding that when I closed the throttle the whole way, the fuel injectors continued to pump fuel for a split second before the revs would fall for some reason. I just got a slip-on put on recently but that's the only work I've had done besides tires. It was really weird and since the RPMs wouldn't fall right away when I untwisted the throttle, this caused shifting to be jerky. I searched the forum for any other problem like this but couldn't come up with anything.

Thanks in advance

Give the MAP sensor a blow out with some compressed air and see how you go.
