04 600RR outta store and wont start!!

Hey guys, I have a 2004 600RR that ran fine last summer, I put it away in my heated basement In November with 1/4 tank left in it. Over the winter I bought a k & n filter and I had installed it, the only thing I unplugged was the ecu on top of the air box. Well I never got to run it because it was in my house but I finally got around to taking the bike out today and all it does is crank, cant smell fuel at all & I can hear the Fuel relay's clicking but I dont think the pumps turning on ? I pulled the tank and I put my volt meter on the plug coming from the bike and I get 11/12v with key on, 0 off. I tried to hook up direct power to the pump and I cannot hear the pump prime, is it somthing that I would be able to hear?

help!! and thanks alot for reading / helping me

You should hear the pump prime when switch is turned on to run. The pump will run/prime for about 2-3 seconds. Then you wont hear it.
Not sure on this, some other guys may know.... would changing from stock air filter to K & N change the AFR enough that the Power Commander would need to be adjusted or does that automatically adjust for those changes???

If the pump is not priming, prob need a new pump or even though the relay is clicking, it may still be bad.

Fixed it! Took the pump out and hooked it up to 12v power and gave it a tap with a screwdriver, it kicked on! must of been gummed up. Put a tank of gas through it already and all is well !
