Starter Realy rattle?

04, 12k miles, youshi exh.

Like many else wont start hot. I know theres a billion post like this but cant find anything about the relay rattling

New batt., all electric readings right everywhere (reg., stator, grounds, batt. on and off)

Pulled out starter relay, theres some corrosion, fuse looks good. My question is the relay itself rattles if i shake it, should it?

I know there is prolly a spring that holds a contact or something like that? could be broke?

last thing before i pull the tank and go after the starter.

any help would be appreciated.
