Speed Cut Off and flashing lights

Hey.. i was wondering if anyone could let me know what the deal is here... So i was riding with a pillion passenger and i reached about 150kmph and the engine suddenly cut off the rev and all the speedo lights started flashing.... what happened??

HAAHHA... the bike did not stall.. it jus cut off gas for a couple of seconds along with flashing lights and then came back to normal
