Can't get front tire

Hi, I have been trying to get my front tire on for a couple of days now. I am un able to get that spacer in there. I have successfully done the back tire with no problem. I just feel as if tho the forks are closer together but that does not seem plausible. If you have any suggestions for my problems they would be greatly appreciated.

There really isn't any trick to putting on the front wheels, but remember that if you take off the front fender (unless it's already off) the bottom fork tubes can be shifted either direction to accommodate some extra space to slide that spacer through. I also find that supporting the wheel with some wood until it is centered with the axle holes will make putting on front and rear wheels much easier by yourself. You'll get it eventually. Also make sure you spacer is in the correct side.
