03 600rr wont redline and cant get full throttle

I have a 03 cbr 600rr with 32,000 milesWhen i bought the bike it didnt have no exhaust just headers sounded like crap.i put an akra slip on. Since ive had it it wont redline are get full throttle it will only rev up to 10,000 rpm and starts bogging threw all gears idles fine ive clean all harness connections, new batt. Ive tried a few suggestions from this site and when i cleaned the connectors it seemed as it gave me a little more on top but still lagging to top out any suggestions for what i can check thanks

Check and clean the spark plugs. Look in your tank for debris. If you can pull the main fuel rail off and let the pump prime into a bottle and look for water or other junk in your gas.

If you are running the stock map tune with aftermarket exhaust then you probably are running a little rich. Ways to tell:
1. Is your exhaust black and sooty? (Will only work if you have put some miles on it)
2. Smell your exhaust when it is running. Does it smell like you could light it with a match? lol. That == Rich

How is your mid-range power? From like 6k rpm to whenever it starts to bog (10k rpm?)? If it is strong/feels normal, then it could be something funny like loose connections/lines.
Also a possibility: was it tuned before you bought it? Could be a crappy map tune.
I've got one more kind of scary one: Maybe the bike has blown a head gasket in the past and never had the head resurfaced? Head could be lifting off the block at high RPM? Does it have any consistent smoking or backfiring issues?

Well mine bogs/lags at WOT under about 5k too....i believe it should unless in 1st gear....you are asking the engine to produce more torque than it can provide at low rpm range.

If the bike runs fine at WOT, and you are 110% sure of nothing lose (connections, manifolds, vacuum, etc), then it is probably some kind of flow issue, or as I said b4 a bad map/map tune/ possibly even ECU. Everything that happens mid rpm range happens the same at higher rpm range, just with alot more pressure, flow, and speed. Maybe one of your wiring harness' are shorting from the vibrations of high rpm? Just a bunch of ideas. Hope any of it made sense. Good luck!

mine is doing the same.one day riding along it just stuttered a bit when i hit 10,000rpm and got worse .runs great under 10,000 but now won't go above under load.took it to a shop because it needed valve clearance check.all was good except for needed spark plugs and one ign. coil out of spec.runs stronger now but still only up to 10,000 rpm. grrrrrrr .feels like not enough gas is getting to it or air.i thought fuel pump but someone said usually they work or they don't no in-between pressure? let me know if u ever fig it out .oh i noticed my speedo must be off quite a bit too.maybe it just needs a computer reset or reprogram. my bike is 2004, stock except for exhaust and cosmetics.
