Curious as to what all i need to take off to get to thermostat housing on an 03 600rr

I need to get to the thermostat housing to replace my ect sensor on my 03 600rr. I've looked at all the "how-to's" but it doesn't say anywhere what all is need to remove to get to the thermostat housing. Has anyone here ever had to replace their ect sensor and if so what all did you have to remove and how? Thanks.

get yourself one of these, it will explain everything & should have pics. you'll get a lot more detail & you'll be able to see how to fix just about anything on the bike

Don't need to spend $50 plus on a book. Took a few things apart and got to it. Amazing what a $1 screwdriver and $10 socket set can do
