Overheating RR3

Hi there

My 2003 CBR is overheating I have been starting it and letting it idle for a while over the winter months when it is stored.

But recently the fan did not come on when it was ticking over, I didn't realise until the temp registered 124 degrees celcious and water then began to rush out the overflow the bike was promptly switched off and allowed to cool.

The bike was them restarted 30 mins later briefly to make sure the engine still ran okay and it did no smoke or rattles or anything of the sorts.

What could be causing the issue with the fan and overheating.

Check the fan connector followed by the relay make sure they are both ok tight connection without any corrosion or rust

If it doesn't challange you it won't change you
