More headlight issues

So me headlights started acting up again so I took the starter switch apart and resoldered the wire but the lights would still turn off intermittently and would sometimes turn on when I messed with the start button I took the switch apart and saw what I thought was corrosion but it wasn't corrosion... The copper/ brass plating on the connector is came off... its the brass button on the top rightClick image for larger version

You got regular lights or have HID installed ?

Check your fuses ? And broken bad bulbs?

I have an OEM headlight in the high beam and a HID in the low beam and they turn on and off at the same time.. Fuses are good and bulbs are good to go... my issues with the headlights are in my starter switch...

If i push the starter switch just a hair( and I mean just barely any pressure on the starter button the lights come on but once I release it they turn off...I took a wire brush and green green scrubbie to clean all the connections and that's when I noticed the spot on the brass piece got bigger....
