Lube off rear tire

Anyone recommendations? After lubing by 15 mins there are no visual traces and I ran my fingers through the entire sidewall and didn't feel any slippage. Granted it wasn't a lot but I'm going for a ride in an hour and want peace of mind. The tire wasn't warm.

Next time I'll cover the tire with a rag.

Happy New Year.

Brake cleaner, or just ride it if you can't detect anything.

Thanks guys, used chain cleaner on it and it felt alright. Went for the ride and kept the lean to a reasonable degree. When I was filling up though I found lube splatter all over the left side of the tyre, and my rear orange rim almost looked like a black rim.

Which lube are you using? try Maxima Chain Wax. Also want to be sure to let it set a bit before taking off. I usually just wash the bike or at least the rear rim after i lube :)
