Fuel Pump not Priming

Ill start by saying I used the search button somewhat trying to find an answer. But It's a crazy 70 degree day in the winter, and Im really wanting to ride.
I took all the plastics off a few nights ago in my apartment, added some flushmounts, cleaned everything, etc. Put it all back on this morning, rolled it outside, and went to start it. The fuel pump didn't kick in when I turned the key to ON. I've taken the tank off again and tried checking all the plugs I could see, but Im pretty much at a loss here. I tried jumping the battery too, thinking that might be the issue. Any suggetions guys?

The kill switch is being really weird. I think that it is the culprit.
I tried flipping it a few times to get it to prime but nothing would happen. But I noticed that the switch didnt sound like it was making an actual click like it normally did. So I pressed it down in the run position a little harder than normal, and immediately the fuel pump primed. So...Am I going to have to replace the kill switch or is there a way to clean it or something?

I know it can be cleaned. There's a how to here somewhere I believe. Seems like Inkslinger just posted how to do it in another "fuel pump wont prime" thread.
I'll see if I can find it.
