in the middle of installing my mad dr's signals...*pics*

okay guys... i used this guys instructions
https://www.600rr.net/vb/showpost.ph...55&postcount=15

and it didnt work... mad dr's instructions are too vague.. they dont describe the colors on the wires from the bike..
okay the running lights are on but it wont blink!!

any ideas?

i know whats positive, negative, and running light but on mad dr's instructions, its labeled as signal, running light, and common.... what color is "signal" and what color is "common"?

use the stock plugs ie cut the femle end plugs off the stock turn signals and solder them to the mad doctor turn signal wires that will be the cleanest connection

If it doesn't challange you it won't change you

With the gold clamps I just took a pair of plyers and squeezed the wire real tight on the end and tugged to make sure they wouldnt come out then just plug-n-play. Sorry i'm not of to much help but I had a buddy helping me b/c i'm not good with wiring stuff myself man, best of luck to you

Talking

I just installed mine today also. Green on the cbr is always the ground wire. I forgot the colors of the running lights wire but you can interchange. Again, please dont start your engine, it may foul your plugs. Just turn key to your acc and switch the wires if you have to. Hope this helps....looks great when installed and you might want to get someone to hold the light in place while you screw in the nail to the light. Also, it was easy if you screwed the nail onto the assembly to make it easier to turn when you install it.

alrite i think its the load box thats faulty or something... so if i install the signals directly to the cbr wires.. what do i do with the 3rd cbr wire since there's only two wires from the mad dr signals?

also which two cbr wires do i connect with the signal?

Are you still having problems with the Mad Doc? If so what year is your bike? Mine is an 05 and this is how I wired it. Works great.

Clutch Lever Side:
Orange/white stripe is running light
Orange is turn signal
Green is common

Brake lever side:
Blue/white stripe is running light
Blue is turn signal
Green Common
