scorpio SE

well like in my last post i was getting my bike towed to figure out why my bike wont start. well the shop figured out that the alarm is draining the battery. i just can imagine why 7 months later it started doing this. the shop said that with the SE model on the 600rr is not needed since it already has a ignion kill on it. and that when you and the ignion kill it tends to cause problems.
they unpluged the wires that run to the igntion and it started up fine. so here is my question. what should i do now, i have the phone number to the place where i bought the alarm, the phone number to the place where they installed the alarm.

im just freaking out since i have to have the alarm on my bike b/c my last bike was stolen.

miss my 05 cbr 600rr.

How does the bike already have an ignition kill on it that you can remotely engage??

I'd call Aritronix. Anthony is a good guy.

I find that very hard to believe- you can't use your alarm if you want to ride your bike. Now I'm almost tempted to call Anthony tomorrow cause I have the same thing, but I haven't gotten around to installing the ignition disable yet. Anyone know if he just slaps his battery on a tender like once a week if that'll keep his battery usable (if that alarm really is his real problem).

my alarm doesnt have the ignition kill and in the last month its started draining the battery. My last 4 startups have been 2nd gear rolling. my friends at my dealership say the alarm is just draining the battery, even though ive had the alarm for months on end. My battery is almost 3 years old so its also probably due for a replacement. But I doubt your problem will be limited to the ignition kill.

well they told me tonight that they are going to completely uninstall it and put it back on to see what the problem is. i hope it will be ok. i dont want to ride it without an alarm on it, can lose another bike.
