coolant leak...

I just noticed that I have a coolant leak on my 05. I've seen post here about overheating so I'm just a little worried. Seems like the coolant are coming from somehere underneath the tank. Should I look for the leak myself or take it to the dealer. It's still under warranty.

TIA

If it's still under warranty then let the dealer figure it out.

The coolant tank cracks very easily at the bottom of the tank. There is a small tip that fits into a metal bracket and the crack is probably right there. It may have cracked during an oil change. Good news is the replacement is very inexpensive.

This is a long shot I know, seeing this post is 7 years old. I may be having the same problem, not too worried just fired the bike up this morning, have 412 miles on her, a 2011, and noticed a puddle of antifreeze underneath. Wasn't too bad and drove the bike in w/o any temperature concerns.

Cracked tank like "satxrider" stated still #1 probable cause for this?
