Did you warn up the bike first before you checked the oil level?

Okay thanks guys I got it. For some odd reason it took over 3.5 quarts and its right in the middle of the two lines standing straight up not on the side stand.

Hope you know that you have run/warm up the bike for 15/ till it gets to 170F.
let it sit for another 15 min and then check the oil level.
The oil will expan when the bike warms up. you might have to much in
