Passenger seat/trunk issue.

I go to take my seat off yesterday to get in my trunk and the damn thing won't unlock. Is there anyone here that has had this issue and how in the heck did you get it off? The key turns but the latch doesn't open.

WTF...We have a trunk on the RR?!?!?!?...

Oh...you must be refeering to that tiny little gap underneath the passenger seat. I think you can fit a pack of cigarettes in that thing! Bwahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Try jiggling the seat around while trying to unlock it.

Do you have stuff in it???
Manual or something thick. Push down on the seat and turn the key.

Shhhhh, little known secret that it's there.

I have my Power Commander in there. I tried the jiggle and it doesn't want to go. I wouldn't care if I didn't have a trackday coming and need to swap to my race glass.

You are going to have to manually pull the wire, 03-04 if you look under the tail infront of the exhaust you will see a plastic piece, remove this and pull the wire. Sounds like the clip that holds the wire came off.

Well I fixed it. The cable fell out of it's holder on the release mechanism. What a PITA. I had to pry the seat up and use a really long screw driver to push down on the loop to unlock it.
