Took off right side cover and some sort of bolt came off but don't know.............

when i took off the right side cover, bolt/nut/misc i don't know what it is came off of it's holding place. i didn't get to see which side the bolt/nut/misc was mounted when it was in it's place.

The bolt/nut/misc looks like this on one side (solid side)

the bolt/nut/misc looks like this on the other side (ridges)

where this thing mounts to is here:

is it suppose to go on like this (the solid side showing)

or is it suppose to go on like this ( the ridges side showing)

this is the best i can do with pics and explaining myself, any help would be greatly appreciated. this is my first time doing this and i was scared that i did something wrong or messed up my bike. am i suppose to cover up that area like this

because i'm sending the part off to get powdercoated by tripage =) well, again, thanks for any help.

OK!!! First look on the the back of the case cover in the area where the spocket goes... You will see a pin the size of the inside of the sprocket... Pull that and put it in the hole to the right of the 5th pic, the sprocket goes over that the same direction your 1st pic, the small spocket to the left gets pulled forward where they all meet and the teeth groove together.... There should also be a wavy washer and a regular on... Wavy goes on first, probably on the cover...
