Hard clutch any easy fixes????

Just purchased a 06, Havent riden it much yet but found that the clutch lever was very hard 2 squeeze, Not easy like my F3 I had. , any fixes for this ??

Check your adj. up next to the lever then the one on the case cover.

possibly not 'broken in' or you can try dripping a little lube down the cable housing - possibly dried out. I'd rec using to bicycle chain lube (DO NOT use WD-40 or the like.)

It is kinda hard to pull in. If you have any problems wit the bike then take it to your dealer. Use the warranty whenever you can.

I was told that all new RR bikes have hard to squeeze handles, I saw on ebay a kit that makes the clutch lever easier to squeeze has anyone tried one....

yeah the clutch is kinda hard.... idk how much aftermarket levers will help but ill see when i get em. wonder if there are any hydraulic clutch kits out there for it....

that easy pull kit on Ebay is simply a gear reduction unit with no way to mount it, it is junk don't buy it. the RR's clutch is one of the tightest out there when new, it will break in and become easier to pull after awhile. you can alway put the MSR Raptor-HP clutch lever/perch on. it's about $40-45 and easy pull.

or you could just work out more. :laughing5
