cbr n00b question

-I picked up my 03 cbr few days ago and I don't know how to open or pop out the passenger/rear seat. I'm guessing my tools/manuals would be in there?

-How do i remove the driver's seat to get to the battery?

-Is there a reserve tank on the CBR? my kawasaki 500 had one so i ask...maybe Honda doesn't have one because it has the digital gauge?

thanks, danny

pop the rear seat using the key, the lock is below the fairing on the right handside (if your facing the front of the bike)
reserve tank is there but it automatically uses it... once you find the manual it will explain it all

the toolkit is found inside your right mid fairing.

there is no separate reserve valve. when your low-fuel lights comes on, you have about a gallon left, iirc.

main seat

I am guessing that the 03 is the same as my 05 in that to remove the seat to get to the battery, pull back or gently lift the foam at the back of the seat slightly and you will have two hex bolts, remove them and the seat slides back and up and out.... usually if you have a tool kit, it will be in the locked storage behind the right fairing.
