low fuel indicator

My low fuel indicator does not work. It will no longer blink. The amount of fuel displayed on the gauge works. Is there a relay for the low fuel blinker?

The indicator used to blink. Now the bike will run out of fuel before blinking.

i think you fuel level sensor went bad simply cause it will not read or register the level of the fuel in the tank look into that & best of luck

Mine never blinks, but I don't know if I've ever been low enough. I can get gas and put 4.3 gallons in though and it still wont be blinking.

I think the sensor is fine. The level of fuel is registered. However the indicator does not blink when fuel reaches the reserve level.

Thats weird i had my bike do that to me a couple times. i've noticed if i just turn the key over the light will blink but when i start it the light does not blink. this has only happened 3 times. but once it caused me to run out of gas like a loser :( if u find a solution post it up. but sounds like a loose connection or short of some sort

I let mine blink once just to see if it worked and have filled up at 100-110 miles. I figure its better safe than sorry!

Fuel capacity is 4.8 gallons including the .9 gallon reserve. So if you are putting more that 4 gallons in and your indicator isn't flashing, it probably doesn't work.
