pulling motors

Ok guys this is really starting to irritate me, I have a 2004 cbr 600rr , the bottom half of the engine case is cracked so I went ahead and grabbed a new 2005 600rr motor. came in the other day perfect everything was going great.

**Okay guys had so much interest expressed in these motors we get wanted to post up a few for you guys to have.
Ron has the first dibs on the 2005 600rr motor we have, we still have an 06 600rr for sale as well, it has 800 miles on it, perfect condition, complete complete ready to run. **

It may still be held in by the clearance adjuster on the rhs of the upper rear long bolt (assuming you've also removed the swinging arm with it's pivot bolt which also holds the motor in) You need a castle-nut socket to loosen the locknut on this before you can slacken off the adjuster itself. Best if you put the bolts back through top and bottom, loosen the castle nut then use the head of the upper bolt to loosen the adjuster before removing the bolts again. Better than having the motor drop as soon as you back-off the clearaance adjuster.

I have some good contact for getting new motors, I only paid 750.00 for the new 2005 600rr motor. The old on believe it or not sold for 865.00. What some people will do for these motors is amazing.
We are about to grab a 2006 600rr motor complete with ecu harness, header, and radiator for 815.00.

Thanks for all your help we got the motor out no problem,a nd got the new one in, fired the bike right up. Still have a problem with the gauges though, just going to try buying a new set of gauges see if that helps.

But now I am having issues, I have pulled all the bolts everything is out, yet the motor still wont drop I dont know what the deal is. Is there some trick which I dont know about, do I have to take something in aprticular off of the bike in order to get the motor out? I have looked at nothing is getting caught from what I can see, its not hitting the front wheel. There is a piece sitting on the kickstand. Do I need to take the kickstand assembly off?

please someone help
How much ? Where you at ?

yes I can still get these motors, all though those prices do not include shipping and they vary between different sellers.
