gas meter .not reading(always full)

ok. since i had a lil accident with my bike i notice that my gas metter is not reading right,in other words it allways apear full . i thought it was actully full till today that i check the tank and it was half full. So any ideas would be great.

could be the float is stuck. try shaking it or drain the tank and get it checked out

hey blueblur THANXS.. i never thought about that ... i was think more in to the cluster then the float. im gonna try to shake it around and then fill it up with gas again ,maybe that will un stuck it. LOL .thanxs agian ill keep ya updated
