Engine problem

Hi I have a problem with my cbr600rr 7 2008! Whilst accelerating the engine cuts out violently feels as though it's seizing and potentially about to lock the back wheel! This happens in a split second! It done it once yesterday and on the way to work three times this morning! Whilst coming off the motorway and waiting at lights the engine cut out! The bike started and got me to work! Any ideas?

Sorry may have posted this in wrong thread thanks in advance

I found the fault it's my side stand switch! I maybe exaggerated when I said felt like the engine was seizing it was just shutting down! Amazing how quick a bike loses power!
