Battery Assumed Dead

So the stories this:
I somehow left my key in my bike on the "On" position ALL night.

The next day when i was looking for my key to ride my bike i couldn't find it, and eventually found it in my bike.

No doubt my battery died, i tried to roll it down my hill i live on and start it, but that didn't work too well - or maybe i did it wrong. Im not sure if theres a great technique for it.

Anyways, i have a 12V battery charger, will this work?

Yeah, you have to push start the bike in 2nd gear not 1st then it shouldn't be a problem.

The 12V battery charger worked like a charm. totally recharged battery.

and I think it was because i was rushed to get drunk - not because I already was lol.

You can't pop start it when it's totally dead. Only jump start it with the other vehicle off.

Just did this to a friends bike the other day, saved lots of frustration.
