2004 CBR 600rr fuel pump primes and has spark but will not start

Hi guys, a couple of days ago I took my bike off the road for to change the chain and sprocket. When I finished I left it on the stand after starting it for 10 secs. The next day I replaced the clutch lever but to my surprise, she would not start.

The fuel pump is priming, and I was able to get one of the spark plugs boots off to test for spark and it did spark under cranking condition. No fenders where removed, and the BAS was not touched. (i shorted it together to test it, and then put it back together normal).

despite all the cranking i do, I dont really smell fuel unless i stick my nose into the exhaust pipe and even then it is rather faint. My fuel pump makes a nice loud whirring noise as usual when i flick the engine stop switch. Any guidance would be appreciated. I do have the service manual, but am not a mechanic by trade and as such, my knowledge is rather limited. thanks for the help.

sorry to add, when I crank her, she turns and turns, but does not sound like it is trying to catch at all.
