Ignition stuck in Lock

So a couple of assholes tried to steal my bike last night but my neighbor managed to spook them off but not before they were able to crack into my ignition. Unfortunately the ignition is now stuck on lock but the handle bars move. Not sure what the douche bags did to it but is there any way I can get it out of lock so I can start it and get it down to a dealer without having to get it in a truck?

Sounds like they messed up the ignition. Probably going to have to get another ignition to get you fixed up. Might talk to a locksmith and see what they think, but if your key won't turn it they probably messed up one of the locking cylinders.

could always just remove the lock cylinder and take it to the dealer

Couldn't you just splice the wires (someone did a write-up) and just tap it so you can start it in the meantime? Probably just buy a new lock set and install yourself?
