Question About Clutch Cable Adjustment...

I just noticed today that my clutch cable was extremely loose, and I adjusted it accordingly, could I have damaged anything riding with the cable so loose? Now that its adjusted the bike feels different..I adjusted it so that all the play in the lever is gone, is this how its supposed to be? just wondering..thanks

Check your owner's manual. 3/8" to 13/16" free play

You Dont Want The Lever Tight...you Need Some Play By The Lever. The Best Spot To Adjust The Cable Is On Teh Clutch Motor Cover.

I use to keep mine real loose until i got my pazzo levers. You wont hurt anything as long as when you pull it in the clutch it doesnt drag.To tight on the other hand will burn a clutch up quick
