Will 2008 left controls/headlights/turn signals work on 03?

I read that the right controls work but need some adjustments, but I am curious if the 2008 part will plug right into a 2003? Or do I have to mod it too? Thanks

I tried a 2008 unit on my 2003. It makes the instrument cluster blink and so I disconnected it.

It can but you have to rewire that plug.

I did it to my bike, just takes a little bit of figuring out which wire to put in what spot on the plug
