not starting after stall

Hey Guys,

I am having an issue with my 03 600rr. Every once in awhile I will stall the bike on some steep hill or if im just letting the clutch out too fast, and when I do, I can't get the bike started. It starts to crank, but it seems like the battery is dead. I need to get jumper cables to start it back up again.

Funny thing is, it only ever does this if i stall the bike. If I leave the bike for weeks or months without starting it, it fires right up. everytime I turn the bike off and bike on if Im going on a ride or something, it starts up still.

So im not sure if I need to change the battery or if its the stator or what the hell it could be. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

You can use a multimeter to check the voltage on the bike when it's running.
