Clutch Chatter

I just installed new clutch discs and springs on my 03 CBR 600rr. I did everything right and had it checked out by a friend of mine that buys, rebuilds, and sells bikes as a hobby. He said I put everything in right, but he noticed that the clutch case where the discs and plates push into seemed burned and possibly worped. When I get my bike into first gear I get a nasty bike chatter. Could this be what is causeing the chatter? Any ideas if it isn't?

You know Jay, you have a kick a** bike, but this is a HONDA CBR site PUNK! I got my bike started but I am still going to get new spark plugs.
