Bike slow to turn over

I have a 2008 cbr 600rr. I got it in 2013 with 2700 miles. I have since put almost 13k total on it. Well about 2 months ago it start turning over slower. Used to just start right up soon as you clicked the starter button. Now it takes around 5 secs. Is it time for a new battery? Or may it be something else. I havnt changed batterys since I've owned it so it could still be the oem for all I know. Any input would be great. Thanks guys havnt been on here in forever since I got my grom. Lol

I would have the battery checked first, make sure it can hold a load.

You start the game with a full pot of luck and an empty pot of experience. The object is to fill the pot of experience before you empty the pot of luck.

Sounds like battery. Can try jump-starting it from a car or another battery, if that solves your issue then it's confirmed. My 2003 has been through 2 replacement batteries.

Spark plugs shouldn't have anything to do with turning over.
