Front stand help

Ok first off I want to say that I feel really embarrased. You can flame me and call me a squid newb all you want....

I purchased a front stand from a guy on here, its a newfront stand which lifts from the steering stem.

My question is how do i work it. Is it supposed to swing freely at its pivot point or is it supposed to be tightend. I cant figure it out. And no I have no instructions.

Help a newb out please.

Thanks

Just stick the pin in the steering stem hole, and push on the handle. Dont tighten anything down, its suppose to swing open.

First get the pin completely up into the steering stem hole. Then with one hand hold it up in there while starting to push down on the handle with your other hand. As soon as you start putting pressure on the handle you can let go with your other hand and then completely push down the handle to the ground to raise up the front. Like 99SH said the pivot point is supposed to swing freely. Do it just like we dexcribed and you'll see how it works.
