07 cbr 600rr electrical(?) issue

Here's the skinny:
Last night take a burn up a mountain road, my speedo goes blank for 5 seconds and turns back on. I reach the top and shut off the bike. Try to turn it back over to go home and I get nothing, just flickering of the gauge.
Get an hesd light on and the fI light giving me a 51 code which was a hesd linear solenoid. A friend brings me his battery and everything is fantastic. I ride home.

Today on my way to work same thing gauge turns off and when I get to work bike doesn't turn over.

Any insight would be wonderful thanks.

Since a new battery helped it. I would check the charge of both batteries and see if they r too low. If so problem is most likely in the charging system.
