Carbon Fiber Swingarm Covers overlap problem

So I have these Lightech Carbon Fiber Swingarm covers laying around for some time now. I would like to install them but the down side of those covers is that they overlap with my rear hugger attachment points. So its my rear hugger or the swingarm covers.

Who has carbon fiber swingarm covers and how did you fix this problem?

drill some holes and put the huger on top.

Yea but that will leave pretty large hole between the end of the swingarm cover and the lower side of the hugger.
