Cluster still on after bike is turned off

Hey guys,

So i went to changing the thermostat today, did that, I'm like 99% sure i put all the wires and plugs back in where they belong. So i topped off all the fluids i.e. the coolant and oil. Then i started the bike up, started up fine, no issues there, i revved it up and it was fine. When i turned it off, the display on the cluster stayed illuminated, the key was out of the bike and it still had the time, and everything else. I went to put the key back in and the needle didn't swing and the speedometer didn't go up to 170 then back down like it should. Is there anything that you guys can think off that is causing this?
