Top End Power/Speed Issues

Hey all,

So I have a 05 600RR and its completely stock.

I have speed tested it on many roads and without question it seems to max at
242kmh on flat ground in full tuck (speedo reading). I weigh 70kg. And that's with minimal fuel.

What are other people getting from their bikes? (stock only.. for 05 or 06).

As I am having throttle sensor issues at around 11000rpm.

Thanks :)

Only hitting the limiter if I choose to. Normally I'll shift around 12. It will hit the limiter in the early gears only. Bike had to have new ecu and ignition and now refuses to put anymore than 220 kmh out.

I've looked into tire pressure, cam chain and brake drag but there doesn't seem to be an issue.
But I am getting an annoying flats pot for a micro second around 11000 revs.

Getting the bike Dyno run next week to see if it's in my head or if the speedo is playing up.

And the winner is.... AFR is horrible!.... after the Dyno and afi test... it climbs massively after 10K revs and gets to almost 16:1 by the time redline hits... if i fix that i fix my top end.

Glad you found the issue. :-)
